Little Read-a-Thon 

 Reach for the Stars

Begins Januaray 22nd

Participation in the program involves 2 parts:

1.  Reading 30 minutes per day between 1/22-2/5.

2.  Collect pledges from friends, neighbors, and relatives over that 2 week time period.

On 2/8, the pledges will be collected and turned into your child's teacher.

Your child will select books totaling 50% of their collected pledges.  In addition, the classrooms and library gets an additional 25% in free books.  The other 25% completes the PTSA's budget for all the wonderful things they do fo our school. 

Read-a-Thon Timeline and Events:

1/22-Start reading for the Reach For The Stars Program

1/22-2/5-Read 30 minutes per day and collect pledges

2/8-Turn in completed form w/ book choices circled that your child wants to earn along with all pledge money.

4/9-Movie and Pizza night.  Movies choices will be announced soon and students will vote on which one they want to watch.  Details to follow....

4/16-All day read-a-thon at school.  Students will receive the books they earned!
