Little Elementary PTSA Our children, the future

Welcome to the Little Elementary School  PTSA Website!! 

 

The kindergarteners would like to launch project CHANGE FOR HAITI’S CHILDREN on Monday, January 25th.  Their fundraising effort will end on Monday, February 8th.  We will begin putting up posters in the hall and will deliver collection containers and posters to each classroom after school today, Friday, January 22nd.

Each day two students, accompanied by an adult, will come to classrooms to collect the money. At least once a week, several students will be outside around 3:20 p.m. to get contributions from parents who come to pick up their kids.

We will give our first financial report at the Pride Assemblies on Friday, January 29th and a final report on Tuesday, February 9th.  We will also give final report to the PTSA at the February meeting.

We will donate all of the money we collect to Save the Children. Save the Children has been working in Haiti for the past 45 years. They are currently on the ground in Haiti.  For more information about their current work in Haiti, please visit http://www.savethechildren.org/.

Every little bit helps, find loose change by cleaning out your car, digging at the bottom of your purse and pulling up the couch cushions.  : )

 Do you have 15 minutes to spare in the morning or in the afternoon so that we can help keep our Littles safe? 

Little is in desperate need of crossing guards to assist during morning drop off and afternoon pickup. Haven't you always wanted to wear an orange vest?
